Bramwell has written about 2,000 news and feature articles for newspapers, magazines and websites. His primary goal, especially in feature work, is to evoke a sense of place. He lures and, if necessary, drags the reader into the setting where the action takes place and with a well-developed sense of colour writing guides the reader throughout the piece. Bramwell is driven by a restless curiousity, a facility for fast research, a non-confrontational, languid interview style and a deep desire to capture and convey, to educate and inform.
